Sennheiser PC350 Headset Review

A new dimension of realism in gaming.
Introduction:Over the years we’re tested a myriad of headsets. From the cheap plastic curves with ear muffins at either side to the high-end audiophile offerings, none of them really had it “all” to be considered the golden standard for headphones. We believed that the existence of a perfect headset was a myth…until we came across Sennheiser’s latest offering.

Dubbed the PC350, this gaming headset provided us with an illicit pleasure that could only be derived from multiple orgasms (for men at least). Some of our previous favorites include the Razer Barracuda - Which was big and comfortable, but its sound quality was only above average. Then there was the Siberia headset from SteelSeries, which provided a good amount of audio quality, but the pain of wearing it over an extended period of gaming made it less desirable than being drilled through your ears. But, above all this, we have finally come to agree that the new Sennheiser PC350 is perhaps the most cataclysmic headset ever tested before. So, what makes this headset so magnificent to have us wax a truckload of poetry about it? That is just what we’re here to explain.
From the very first time you pop this headset on, it’s like being touched in the loins by Jennifer Lopez in a late nightclub. The PC350’s oversized ear-cups completely cover your ears, engulfing the user in its silent isolation preparing you for what we might consider an impending aural ecstasy. The foam on the ear cup perfectly seals around your ears hardly giving you any discomfort during extended hours of use. Truth be told, this puppy gave us no problems whatsoever even after using it for a staggering 12 hours, though any other headset in its place would’ve made the experience feel much worse than having a hangover. Considering this headset is built for comfort, it goes without saying that the PC350 looks a bit quirky when you take it out for a spin to listen with your iPod, only appealing to the geeky types.
