Sony Plans to Reposition PS3

Sony wants to own your entertainment.



According to 'confirmed' 'research', owning ones entertainment is where its at. And Sony plans to do just that. Own the entertainment by the jibblies. SCEA's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Peter Dille says that the company plans to reposition the PS3 as the "total entertainment solution". That's...wait, reposition? When was it positioned in the first place?

"We have been a game company for years and we would never walk away from that, but research confirmed there is a larger proposition under our nose," Dille told the LA Times. "We wanted to reposition as a total entertainment solution. We felt like we can really own entertainment."

"While Sony's latest ad campaign will continue to target gamers, it will also be aimed at more 'mums and families,'" he added.

'Mums and families'? Sony doesn't get it, does it now?
